WHO: Hammered dulcimer maven Maggie Sansone leads her audience on an outing to a festive Celtic fair with her guests Andrea Hoag on fiddle, Rob Greenway on guitar and Irish flute and Matthew Bell on percussion. As always, Sansone brings an innovative spirit to traditional Celtic music, joining ancient and modern instruments, jazzy harmonies and percussive grooves to interpret music from Renaissance dance manuscripts, jigs, reels and airs from Ireland, Scotland and Brittany, France, and new compositions in the tradition. With her new CD, A Celtic Faire, Sansone invites the listener to "imagine an ancient gathering of musicians in colorful garb, musical instruments in hand, heading for merriment and revelry at the castle fair." Sansone has the distinction of being a working musician and CEO of her own independent record company, Maggie's Music, Inc. The label has a growing roster of recording artists and over fifty albums in world-wide distribution, including twelve solo recordings by Sansone.

Audiences for these concerts are requested to be quiet (except, of course, when encouraged to participate!). By popular demand the series continues to be a non smoking event. These Celtic concerts run four Sundays in February (3, 10, 17 and 24) and two in March (2 and 9), with three sittings each evening: 4 - 5:30, 6 - 7:30 and 8 - 9:30 p.m. by the fireside in the Snuggery (Dining Room) of the Old Brogue Irish Pub. A full dinner menu of the Old Brogue’s fine fare will be available, as well as one of the area’s most extensive collection of choice ales. SPACE IS LIMITED AND THESE ARE POPULAR CONCERTS SO EARLY BOOKING IS RECOMMENDED.
.
